2006 Yamaha YZ250F |

From The Manufacturer: |
|
Key Features: - A carefully tuned aluminum frame made up of forgings, weldings, castings and tubing means sharp, super-precise handling.
-Increased mass centralization provides fantastic overall balance and performance.
-Suspension refinements front and rear help make the 2006 YZ250F the sweetest-handling and smoothest-riding one ever.
-Sharp new styling keeps the YZ250F at the front of the pack in the looks department, too including a special, 50th anniversary model.
-Trick new bits include a light, strong ProTaper aluminum handlebar in adjustable clamps, Excel rims and a cool new exhaust system.
-Five titanium valves let the YZ250F breathe deep, spinning out amazing torque and horsepower all the way to 13,500 RPM.
New for 2006: -
Speed-Sensitive System 48mm Kayaba fork move the TCV (transfer control valves) above the fork springs, so that damping force is now controlled by piston speed; that prevents mid-stroke damping force changes, for a smoother, more precise ride.
-Titanium-sprung, four-way adjustable rear shock rod diameter is 2mm bigger. New, Kashima coating reduces friction for fantastic compliance and great handling.
An all-new aluminum frame provides fantastic handling.
-Carburetion and exhaust changes let the 249cc four-stroke breathe free all the way to 13,500 RPM, and a new radiator keeps it cool.
-Moving the dry sump oil tank ahead of the engine provides overall balance and handling and minimizes external oil lines.
-New CDI magneto provides a hot, consistent spark across the powerband for right-now throttle response.

Description:

i really like the 250f its comfortable, easy to ride but you have to ride it hard.i been riding the yz 250 2 stroke for years now and then i made the downstep to the 250f and i really like it but i wish i had the 250 450 power.the handling i really like the suspension is smooth the turning is good.i dont like this bike in glamis it rides the dunes good but going up the hill its slow and jumping is very hard out their. At the track i like this bike you can beat any 125 and its to easy to manuver. |

ATV(four-wheeler) and motorcycle (dirt bike) riding is inherently dangerous. Proper research should be done before deciding
to enter the sport, and afterwards before each ride. Riding classes or instruction is recommended for the beginner rider. Always
read the owners manual after buying a new vehicle. All protective gear including but not limited to a helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, chest protector, shin and elbow guards, ect. should
be worn. Extreme riding such as stunt riding or riding and high speeds is considered very dangerous and is not tolerated on
our property. Always be extremely careful when riding in an unknown area. All manufacture warnings should be followed, such as
age limit, double-riding, stunt riding, road use, ect. Operating any off-road vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol
is extremely dangerous to yourself and others and should never be done (this is prohibited at The Ridge Riding Park). When riding
your ATV or dirtbike always stay on approved trails. Only ride in approved areas, and get permission before riding on private lands.
Keep your riding area clean and respect the environment. Obey all laws regarding riding and the riding area.
